Success requires getting up early. Much can be accomplished within those few hours before dawn as morning rituals could set you up for success. In fact some business leaders accomplish more in those few hours than many average persons would in days. Oprah Winfrey’s example of making those few hours count can be a source of inspiration to us all.

Before she faces the hustle and bustle of a tough world Oprah makes sure she clears her mind for 20 minutes through meditation. The power of meditation cannot be undermined as many other successful people like Arianna Huffington and Russell Simmons engage in this practice too. According to Oprah after one of her morning sessions of meditation she confessed, “I walked away feeling fuller than when I’d come in. Full of hope, a sense of contentment, and deep joy. Knowing for sure that even in the daily craziness that bombards us from every direction, there is — still — the constancy of stillness. Only from that space can you create your best work and your best life.”
According to Oprah she hits the treadmill in her gym to exercise every morning. Exercise has a way of helping many successful people to keep their productivity and energy level up. And this could prove beneficial if they will be having a rough day at work.
She tunes herself in
Everyone has a way of tuning his/herself to becoming the best they can be. Could it be listening to your favorite song? Could it be going out for a walk? Or preparing a delectable meal? According to Oprah she does well to tune herself in for her day by playing scrabble on her I-pad even while she walks and sweats it out on the treadmill.
She eats healthy
While others could eat fatty foods that quickly burn out and leave them fatigued, Oprah eats a healthy meal regularly made out of carbohydrates, fibre and protein. This could be drinking a green drink, which is a mixture of parsley, a little bit of apple juice, celery, and cucumbers in a blender; or drinking her ritualistic tea made from chai.
She gets to work
Oprah gets to do what she loves as early as possible and could record two shows in the morning.
